About Us
From humble beginnings in Manzanillo, Mexico, Cisco and Claudia Pelayo became U.S. citizens in 1963. Through hard work and dedication, they opened their first restaurant in Fairfield. Word got around and their delicious food and drinks were a hit; therefore, paving the way for their second restaurant, this time in Vacaville. The Vacaville location opened its doors in 1986. With their popularity growing, along with the Green Valley area of Fairfield, they opened their Taqueria in the Green Valley Shopping Center in Fairfield in 2000.
The Pelayo family tradition continues with Cisco and Claudia’s sons and grandsons taking the helm and their mission remains the same as did when they opened their doors for the first time.
